It treated drugs such as steroidal non-steroidal anti-inflammatory that, in the long term, can cause side effects. For this reason, exploitation of natural resources to combat type concern researchers. The purpose our study was evaluate anti-colitis (anti-inflammatory) effect β-Chitosane induced albino mice by acetic acid (5%). Methods: Mices were separated into six groups: witness (untreated not ulcerated), negative control group (ulcerated untreated), positive ulcerated Dexaméthasone® (1 mg/kg), test groups different doses (0.5 g/ kg; 0.75 kg 1 kg) for entire treatment estimated six-days. efficacy evaluated macroscopic microscopic scores. Results: clinical scores showed that dose g/kg significantly reduced damage caused score (3.41 ± 1.45) compared those which less inflammation (6.26 1.23). histological colons able validate decreasing neutrophil infiltration ulceration colon well structural recovery mucosa.
